Looking for building a business

My dream is to be able to build a business which can sustain my daily expenses. Its easily said than done. I've been having many requests from my friends for partnerships but partnerships can't be agreed once proposed, have to think over and over again. Many of them are really risky from my point of view. However, I've been wondering if opening a day-care is hard to manage. Is there anyone here in myLot discussion group could advice me? Most day-care center would just take care of children and teach them about daily life. Language learning maybe? food provided?

I don't know too much about the daycare business but what I always thought would be a good idea was if there were daycares that would be opened for children with parents who work the later shifts, overnight shifts and even weekends. Daycares always seem to cater to the people who work Monday to Friday no later then 6 pm.

@jeff_kenly There are lots of parents who work weekends and have days off through the week.

Business is a success if you have family support you cannot do alone. If you are aggressive and I will do it attitude with more than 100% dedication you will succeed.

@kumbarn14 Thank you kumbarn. but yea.. I have learnt from other people that when you use your parents money to build a business, you tend to take it for granted and if you fail, you don;t really feel bad as when you fail with your money.

Why do you say that we cant do it without family support? I intend to start it without my parents. However I'm sure it will be with some trustworthy friends

We've often thought of opening a day care but never have had a house that would pass the state's requirements and sure don't have the money to rent a building.
I know you have to go through a lot, here at least, to get licensed.

Could you please elaborate more on this license thing? Different countries, different policy. I know, but i do really want to have an idea what I'm going for. Thank you
