how to earn in youtube ?

I am finding many discussions online on how to earn by youtube . Really I am not able to understand how to do that. Is anyone here doing it so and please let me know the methods to do that. Is it so complex , however please let me know to do it

it is simple you have to create your own channel and upload videos in that channel when you hit 1k views you get one dollar note :you should not copy others video from you tube that's what i know
