So Out of Whack Today

I woke up this morning and got my bath right away. I knew that before doing much else I wanted to head out and visit my son in jail. Since I had to wait a little bit for my hair to dry some, I opened a bunch of windows for things I need for my blog post today. My post features the craft project boxes you see in my picture. I expected to be gone about an hour since visiting time is just 30 minutes. Of course that didn't work out. You know how that goes for me. My mom wanted to stop at the post office while we were out. Hubby's cousin messaged me that free potatoes were being given out at 2nd and Washington streets. That was on the way home, and we do need them for 2 Thanksgiving dinners. But then my oldest daughter messaged me that she was running late to get to work after having her oil changed and needed me to run across town to the mall to pick a grandson up. Oh boy! I came home, ready to get the blog post done, to find that while I was gone my laptop shut off! Oh geez, all that prep work getting the pages open and ready for what I needed was a waste of time as I had to start all over again. I find myself just feeling out of sorts, or out of whack. I have a real heavy nervous feeling. I'm sure some of you can relate. I'm still stressing over no more money from cleaning the church, but not only that, our church is probably going to close it's doors really soon. I can't get out of my mind the many ways we can save our church....if only what few members that we do have wouldn't give up!! The church is on my mind most constantly. Well, off to see if I can do some "work".

It was kind of a bleak Sunday as there was talk of turning off the lights to make a point to the members that there is not enough coming in to even pay the utilities...but you can't squeeze blood out of a turnip as they say. I barely make any money, so what I put in the plate amounts to a little bit of nothing. They wouldn't miss me financially if I left, but I would hope they would be me active wise.

I am so sorry that your church is shutting doors. We live in difficult times.

They aren't shut yet, but enough members are saying that, and not enough to do what needs to be done to avoid it.

Some days are just that way. Best laid plans and all that. Hope you can get some work done.

I did finish sewing one bag and worked on a second one. I still feel out of it today, but it's because I just don't know where to turn with this money situation.

Your church may close, dear friend, but God will not "close" for you. Relax and something will come up.
