The cat was cold

The cat was cold and so was I. It kept complaining and whining. This area is supposed to be missed by storm Angus but it feels just so cold. We are on the sofa with the fire on full and staying here till morning. The heater upstairs just did not cut through the icy air. I have the heater on full and a cat on my feet, but if I put my hand out from under the duvet it is icy cold.

And the cat is so lucky that she has an owner who loves her and that she is housed where there is a heater that can warm the place .

Really, she is spoilt! I suppose I moved for me too, but a whingeing cat really disturbs one'side sleep and Freya knows just how to organise her Humans.

Bless your heart. You must live in a cold climate. In my house, it's well insulated and if it occasionally gets down in the teens the inside of the house never dips below 60. We haven't had really cold weather in a few years. I live in the Metro Atlanta area.

England is pretty cold just now. The county I small in was not in the path of storm Angus, but the temperature dropped and we are still getting lots of rain. I think the feel has been 0 degrees at times though it was apparently 8 degrees at one point. It usually goes to minus degrees some point during the winter and I am surprised how cold we feltm

Poor cat. It's cold over here too. My cat is an indoor one, thank goodness. Stay warm!

Very few English cats stay indoors. When I went to the States I was shocked how many people thought this was dreadful. Cat flaps are very popular here.

@Jackalyn I'm glad those cat flaps are popular there to let those cats go in and out. I thought it was called a cat door.

Days like that really annoy me! Nothing you do can warm up the house! Hope you and the cat enjoyed a cosy night together. It was wet here in the east, and fairly mild. Both my cats chose to stay outside all night, the sillies. :)

We are still cosy on the sofa. Freya did ask to go out just now, but one look at the weather convinced her she could wait and that breakfast and further rest were her plan for the day.

That cat thinks my purpose in life is to cuddle her and tickle her ears.

We've had horrendous heavy rain here today. My boy cat has been going to the patio doors to be let out but when he sees the rain, he won't budge. He then goes to the front door and meows to go out there. He seems to think that it might not be raining if he goes through a different door. And he stares at me as if I'm the one with the power to stop and start the rain.
