Do you request for your credit card annual fee to be waived?

Before I enrolled to a credit card, I was advised that there is an annual fee. Five of my office mates, including me was approved for a credit card. However, most of them already received a statement of account showing that they have an annual fee. My latest statement though does not show any annual fee. They seldom use their card and just used it for approximately Php 5,000 annually. While in my case, I always use my card as it is easier to pay online instead of using cash. I am hoping they will waive it as I always use my card for my groceries and buying my son's milk. If not, I will transfer to a new bank that offers no annual fee.

I'm using a reloadable credit card and it doesn't have an annual fee. It works fine for me because I can buy load with the use of it through its mobile application.

I mean, my colleagues only spent around 5k for the whole year, that's why they were charged with annual fee. I have not received any statement yet. I hope they will waive it for me.

Here it is common to use the credit card. If I can consume it six times in a year and it doesn't matter how much amount it is. Your annual fee will be deducted. So it almost means the annual fee is not available. As I even can consume six times in a week

@chiwasaki Not sure, but I use mine about the same all the time, and some reps will waive the fee and some won't.
