Back from the gym!

Tonight's workout was good. It was a TRX/kettlebell/band workout. There were 3 sets of exercises and we worked our way through one set at a time. We did 40 seconds of work and took 20 seconds of rest, and did the exercise 3 times before rotating to the next one.
Set 1
a) TRX rows
b) kettlebell rows (20 sec each arm)
c) band presses
Set 2
a) TRX pushups
b) kettlebell press
c) band palpress
Set 3
a) TRX reverse lunges
b) kettlebell single leg deadlift
c) band pull apart
The finisher was a bit of a challenge. She set the clock at 7 minutes. We had to do 35 seconds of mountain climbers, 8-10 pushups, and then 30 squats. . . and then repeat the sequence over and over again for the 7 minutes.

I love kettlebell exercises. They are so unique, and engage your body in a quite different way from normal weights. The TRX system has never appealed to me.
