Trump Already Saving The World

I am finally over it for now. My Trump bashing is being put on hold. Why? My friends are estastic that Trump has came to power. He represents the little guy. According to them that is true. He says what they think and lives life how they would really want to live it.
Just today saw how Trump is already saving the world. The stock market is at an all time high being up over 19,000 points. Never really understood what the stock market does for the little people, but if that makes my friends happy, then I am happy.
It does make the rich happy and this country needs the rich to be happy. That way they leave us poor people alone. Maybe they might even be nicer to us poor people on the other side of the tracks. Might say hi, or excuse me, maybe even take advantage of us a little less. Maybe they will be in such a good mood that they will finally pay their employess a fair living wage. Lets not get to hasty.
I can get by on little money and expect my income to go reletively unchanged over the next 4 years. I will just take the rich being in a better mood because they are sure grumpy for people who have everything.
As long as I do not see internment camps and swat teams rounding up people that disagree with the Trump administration. I will be fine. If they turn this country into more of a Police state than it already is, my Trump bashing will come back full steam. The world works better when people can be greedy. The world needs their greed and when we try to take that away is when we have problems. Full greed ahead, I am on board.

Best just see what he does once he gets in office.
The stock market has an impact on the little people in all sorts of ways...a big one is pension funds.

Yeah, but only if you have money it it. Not many poor people do. Even some of my middle class friends do not. Their work offers no such programs and will be honest they are just not good with money to invest on their own.

@crossbones27 not necessarily.
Peoples wealth impacts their spending.
Say you're a less well off person working in a business...it'd get less custom if people have less money to spend which could lead to lay offs...it's all connected even if you have no money in the markets.
Everyone here that has a job now has a pension.

@Mike197602 I get that and have been screaming that forever, but no one listens to me. lol It seems like this would be the easiest thing in the world to offer, but apparently it is the hardest. Maybe the world is just to populated with to many oppisite parts working against each other.

Trump will only save himself. No one else. Especially the little people. I still don't like him and never will. I never did anyway. Things will be changing soon. But nothing good will come from this retarded administration. That's for sure. But we still have to survive here and live, somehow.

I am trying to be optimistic, in the most cynical way possible. I tend to agree everything that happens in his administration over the next few years will be to benefit him mostly and nothing to do with the American people, but maybe some of that will trickle down to a tiny few.
It is all about the illusions of prosperity and one thing is for sure this country loves illusions. It keeps people motivated and trying for some reason.

@crossbones27 That is so true. People love a good magic trick. And he is doing that right now. I for one, like you, am no fan. But like you said we do have to be optimistic about the next four years. Maybe you're right about the trickle down effect. ho knows. But I don't have to be happy with the choice america made.

I don't know, man. As Hunter S. Thompson used to say, I have the fear.

I have the fear also, but as I told inertia, trying to be as positive as I can in the most cynical way possible.
