Favorite "Time" Songs #6 - "Time of the Season"

It's "time" (groan) for #6 in my Favorite "Time" Songs series, a designation belonging to The Zombies and their classic "Time of the Season."
Led by keyboardist Rod Argent and vocalist Colin Blunstone, The Zombies formed in England in 1962, and despite lineup changes and a couple hiatuses, are still at it. The band, according to Wikipedia, signed their original recording contract after winning a contest.
From their 1969 album Odessey and Oracle, "Time of the Season" is a Certified Gold record that reached #1 in Canada and climbed to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Ironically, the song failed to chart in the band's native England.
"Time of the Season" has been used in various television commercials, and has been covered numerous times, notably by The Guess Who and The Dave Matthews Band.
It's definitely a classic tune, one that I could not not include in this countdown.

Zombies should not be allowed to make such nature like sounding songs. It confuses me. lol Great song.

Rod Argent is a pretty good keyboardist. I always liked his solo stuff. Good song to have stuck in your head!

I have no idea why, but it didn't chart over there. Weird. I used to play it on the radio during our "classic weekends" all the time. Big hit here.
