Do police officers really love donuts?

I often see police men in tv series and movies eating donuts as if it is a daily ritual. I even read a posts from a funny social media site wherein the original poster wants to steal a donut truck so that the policemen can chase him.
Policemen here in the Philippines are not so fond of donuts, pizza probably. Do police officers in the US really love donuts?

@LadyDuck Donuts are popular here in the Philippines but I rarely see a policeman eating donuts, burger perhaps.

@chiwasaki Our policemen do not eat while they are working and when I see them in the restaurants they eat normal food, like all the others, nothing specific to policemen.

@youless I saw some policemen eating burgers, but they are probably on their break time.

I think that's the most handy food they can eat while on duty . Burger is another one i see them eating on movies .

@jstory07 Most of the tv series I watched potray policmen as a donut loving officers.

Yeah, I rarely see policemen eating donuts in our place. What I observe is that they become alert when beautiful young lady pass by in their front.
