It’s time for another “Facts About Me” post, and it’s a good thing I just finished dinner because this would’ve made me hungry lol. :p Yep, my “Facts About Me” post for this week is Thanksgiving themed. :) 1. I’m not a morning person, we all know that, but I love getting up early to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with the family. I’ll be honest, I’m more into the floats, displays and performances than the interviews and constant talking (unless it’s someone I really like). 2. I love just about everything we cook for Thanksgiving - the turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, cornbread, cranberry sauce, corn on the cob and gravy to name my favorites. Let’s not forget the pumpkin pie lol. 3. I always wind up napping shortly after dinner, but I think that’s happens to almost everyone lol. Alrighty, I’m still working (stopped to go help with some much-needed grocery shopping), so I’m gonna wrap this up. I’ll be back at some point for the Gratitude Challenge, but I’ll probably just go to bed after I post it and save the comments/responses for tomorrow or later this week. I’ll catch you all later. Your likes and mine are very similar regarding Thanksgiving. I love the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, and no, I don't like all those interviews and talking, and less the commercials that cut off some of the floats or bands. Napping I think has something to do with an enzyme that's in the turkey. It's a good excuse to nap after a big meal.

Yep, I tend to go check another channel unless it's an interview I actually want to see, and the same goes for the cooking segments too. We don't need any last minute tips, we just wanna see the floats and performances lol. Yeah, I heard there is a chemical in turkey that causes you to fall asleep, and I definitely took a nap after dinner (and then had some pumpkin pie later lol).

@just4him Aaah, okay. I made a joke on Thanksgiving --- "If I can't sleep tonight, I'll just come downstairs for some turkey" lol. Yes! We had (may still have) other pies too, but pumpkin pie is my favorite. :D

@tammys85 Triptophan I think is how it's spelled is the enzyme that puts you to sleep. No Thanksgiving would be complete without a nap and pumpkin pie.

@tammys85 I suspect that it will take a bit of time to go through all your notifications.

@LadyDuck Yeahhh, I'm still going through them, but I'm determined to get them done, even if it means putting off posting. I have a list of profiles to visit and return the favor, but I need/want to get through my notifications first.
