Reducing anxiety
Nov 23, 2016
William Congreve (not, as I thought, William Shakespeare) once said "Music hath charms to soothe the savage breast."
I've thought it's true but now I hear that science supports the notion. So this morning I've been listening to some of the music listed (and linked) at the bottom of the article. It works for me today, but I wonder if it would work if I was overwhelmed with anxiety. I hope I never have to test it.
How do you reduce your anxiety?

@blitzfrick Yes,when I fell stressed, I usually go to a nearby park to take a walk , the fresh air and the beautiful scenes help a lot .After that ,I would take a shower and then drink some hot water. it works for me , if it dose not work for you ,you shoud try other ways.

When I am feeling anxious I like to go for a walk. It helps calm me down but if it is too cold to go our walking I will listen to music. I find that helps a great deal.

Yes, I like the walk-it-off therapy. As soon as my plantar fasciitis goes away I'm going to get back into walking, even in the rain.

I can do the water, but don't see myself doing much of that other stuff.
