Happy 95th birthday, dear Mum / myLot

The queen bee in my life turned 95 today. We talked for a few moments on the phone. We are so far apart due to many reasons but I did the right thing. I wished her well. That sentence, "Its your Mom calling." That will ring in my head forever. Past memories of us treking up mountain sides. Treking through junk shops; sharing treats, surprising each other with flowers. Planting seedlings as Spring came up. Blue jays and cats and forever. So yes, happy birthday, dear Mom.

What a shame you aren't closer. And how wonderful that she is still able to call you and you can talk on the phone. I hope your Mom has many more birthdays.
