Did police homophobia fail serial killer's gay victims?

i have seen this headline yesterday and i just ignored to read it. now... another update. i could no longer ignore it. a morning headline that i need to read and to be aware about. another gender related issue here. they could have acted sooner if victims were women?! LGBTQ are human too, right?! we are existing! we 'die' like any regular men and women. we get hurt. we also have families. so why treat or act indifferent or unconcerned!? "The killing of low income gay men in working class Barking was treated very differently -- police officers stand accused of class, gender and sexuality bias." just sad :( the victims had dreams too! do not trust people you chat or met on dating sites. An investigation is underway as to why police took so long to catch serial killer Stephen Port, who murdered four gay men in east London.

it is an astonishing case when two bodies turn up in exactly the same spot and police treat them as seperate unrelated incidents along with two other murders in close proximity

That is ignoring the evidence and creating false information

it is horrible when anyone get murdered. no matter who it is and police should be doing their job. bet they would work on that one harder if it was their family member

I saw on the news last night that 17 police officers there are now under investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.

I hope the commission won't cover up the police officers

@therealmaryyy There is such an outcry over this apparent negligence that I think it will be a very stringent investigation.
