I should not be Here. I should be Looking for the Hook

Here I am again because just now I am having a break from looking for a hook. It is not one for buttoning up shoes or hanging a coat on, Nor is is the hook to the hook and eye for dressmaking. It is a hook to keep them reading what I am writing and if I don't find it soon, then the readers won't!

I understand your point, the first lines are the most important to hook a reader.

Didn't know if you had a thing for a little boy named Peter or what? The hook I think you want if my memory serves me correctly is for a book you are writing?
