I got a pretty upsetting email from the manager of the store I am supposed to be transferring to. She said no one from my store spoke with her since the last time we talked.
The transfer is not in progress and it has not been fully approved by the regional manager. I am so upset and angry. Last night my cable also stopped working so that added to my stress and Jay got home late so I didn't get to sleep at the normal time.
I feel like crap this morning and now have to go in and train new hires for my position when they haven't even bothered to properly transfer me to a new store!!!
I want to scream. I have contacted HR and they are looking into it.

What a start to your day and they really should not treat you like that either.
On top of that you have to train new people to do your Job that you were or are doing there?
It would leave me feeling, well donĀ“t how to describe it annoyed would be a good one or super annoyed.
Hope they sort it all out for you very soon.

I have read through all the responses and I find it very funny how and why you are being penalized for the HR negligence.. You should not be losing any working hours at all.. I think that it is only fair that they let you work until your transfer is finalized and set, even if they already have the new hires to take over your place... Cant you demand that much?

The problem is that I cannot work there anymore for health reasons. So even if they gave me more hours it would be detrimental to my health which is why I had to move to a location closer to my home.

Transfers can be a pain in the neck and in big companies many times not everyone does things in a timely fashion either because they just slack or because they are overwhelmed with work and have fallen behind.
However you training someone to replace your position is you doing your part to prevent things from snowballing and affecting more people than necessary. It is already horrible enough for you no reason why we should do the same and have another go through the same thing for no good reason. I hope they get things straightened out for you soon.

@MissNikki I am so sorry that a lot had been happening due to all this transfer. You didn't deserve all this hassle.
