A 2003 song that has actually helped save many lives. It directly addresses the pain of those contemplating suicide, with its title assurance that no matter how bad it seems or could become, holding on no matter what usually pays off in the end. The video is interspersed with moving interview snippets of the family, friends and lovers of people who have taken their own lives and a few people who came back from the brink. It is worth reading the Youtube comments too, often by those who attribute their ongoing survival at least partly to one of the most important pieces of music ever recorded.
