My baby started to crawl

My baby started to crawl

I was quite amazed to see him moving quite fast from one place to another. He used to move slowly, with the tummy touching the floor. Now, he actually started to crawl properly with lifting up his tummy, so he can crawl faster now. It seems like he is happy to go on his own adventure without needing us to carry him, moreover he can always hunt for treasures on his own. When adults are around, the adults might grab away the "fun things" from the baby, which is not so fun! So, that means we have to keep non baby-proof things away from his reach.

Your bundle of joy will now be moving around your place. Best to keep it baby-proof.

His arms are probably strengthening up. Baby proof your home. He's non-stop now.

Yes, I think that too. It's cute to see him keep trying and finally now he got the strength to do it. I have to constantly remind my elder children to keep their things away. They are so used to just play and put things on the floor.

@kaka135 ....The small items he will put in his mouth. Good lesson for the older ones to learn to pick up after themselves now.

@celticeagle Yes, I think that too. It's not easy to ask them to pick up their stuff most of the time, but as they really take care and love the little brother, they always try to do so now.

Wowww . . . already? My goodness time is going by so quickly - can't believe he is mobile on his own now! And definitely this means you all will be on your toes too . . . what will he find next?

Yes, I can't believe time flies so fast!! I still remember when I was pregnant and now this little baby is ready to go on his own. He's always trying to sit up now, I'm not sure when he will be ready to do it.

@much2say Not so fast yet! My baby is still learning to crawl, but now he can really lift up himself high and crawl faster. He can sit for longer time without falling down too. He likes to explore the world by himself now, so I have more free time now.

Yes, I always remember when my elder children walked their first few steps. Those are really huge achievements for them, and big joy to us too! I like your profile picture. Is that your dog?

Yes, sooner they will be going on their own too. I am prepared myself to let them "fly". That'll be bittersweet for parents.

@kaka135 When children can already do things on their own, they never even mind if they need to ask permission or not. They just do whatever they want..

Yes, he started to pick up papers and hold the pencil that my little girl left on the floor last night. He looked so cute that he was like writing. He is interested in everything!

AW My son is seven now, and I still remember when he started crawling and then walking. It is such a joy to see what they will do. They also tend to do a lot of exploring. Start baby proofing. He is so handsome!!!

And soon he will standing up and you'll have to move things even further away! It is great to see them progressing and learning isn't it?
