"But If I Buy It, You Will Know!"

I'm spending the afternoon making my own Christmas list of things I need... I don't know why I never thought of this before. I generally make a shopping list for everyone else on my list. It never occurred to me to make a list of items that I want. And yes, I'm handing the list out to hubby and darling daughter. If one of them runs out of things to buy me lol... I'm giving them a helping hand! As far as Christmas shopping goes, I often will point something out to darling daughter and say... ooh, I like that. And she will say... "but if I buy it now, you will know!" She can't get her head around the fact that I really don't mind knowing what I'm going to get for Christmas. It gives me time to think about it lol! Do you want to know what you are getting for Christmas or do you want to be surprised??

I always wanted to be surprised. But if I wanted anything, I will let them know my wish list.

I don't mind knowing but my husband always like to surprise me so whenever I suggest something he says 'I can't buy you that. It wouldn't be a surprise'. I tell him that if I give him a choice of things it will be a surprise.

I do like suprises but it never bothers me to know what I am getting for Christmas. Sometimes when my grandma was alive she would take me to the store and have me pick something out so that she KNEW for a fact that it was something I would enjoy and like...My husband often we do the same thing if we decide to get each other something but mainly we buy for the kids.
