It rained and rained last year here in Chennai, TN, India.. Some that went to the office got locked up in the office itself due to flood and road blocks.. There was a lot of loss and damage to life and property.. And this year.. when It din't even drizzle yesterday, there were tons of messages circulating about flood warnings and odds.. People started to panic.. Schools and colleges announced holidays prior to even a drop of rain.. I don't know whether it is just panic or caution. I was like really?? Coz, Holiday declaration never happens here unless it really rains heavily for at least 2 days!! Any comments on this??
