Definitely the wrong time for the weather to change

After the glorious sunny start to my holiday, the rains have arrived. I have just spent 30 minutes or so sat on the balcony watching the rain falling.
Ordinarily this would not concern me because it is not cold despite the rainfall. However, I am setting out for Gibraltar tomorrow morning, so I do hope that the rain stops before then.
Gibraltar is not very well protected from the elements, so it would be very inconvenient to arrive there in the rain.
Oh well, there is not really anything that I can do to change the situation, so I shall simply ignore it until the morning and hope that it has improved.

I hope the weather clears for your visit but as long as it isn't cold it is tolerable.

Surely you know the song 'Rain drops keep falling on my head...........' ? Just sing and you will enjoy the rain.

@Asylum Not on the same page with you as I have not heard of Butch Cassidy but this other guy who sang it did not complain.
"But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free
Nothin's worryin' me"

@allknowing You have not heard of the American bandits Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? The song was written especially for the film about them.

There have been many times that I have been on vacation to the Caribbean islands where bad weather has forced a change in plans. Instead of getting frustrated or depressed about it, I have always just tried to make the best out of a bad situation...and usually end up having just as much fun in the process!

@Asylum So the Spanish rain is much more pleasant than the Manchester rain?

Am hoping that the reason has stepped for you.its never really any fun getting out in the rain when there are things that need to be done. unless your going out to play in the rain then you can't get enough. Hope your having a bright sunny day!!

Weather is one thing that is so unprictable we can try but in the end mother nature has a mind of her own I guess
