What Is That On The Floor?

That's what it looks like Daisy and Bella are saying as they appear to be looking on the floor...what is that on the floor? Actually, for some reason, that is the way they both like to lie in the chair. You would think that it wouldn't be that comfortable but they prefer to have their heads hanging off the side of the chair. I have two really strange dogs .
When I look at the picture now, I really want to go over and fix Daisy's ears . I didn't even notice it when I took the picture. I just had to quickly point and shoot as they both always move when I try and take pictures of them.

I have always tended to notice that pets sleep in the most awkward and weirdest positions!

I thought that the dog just had very docked ears ha ha. It does look like they are looking at the floor. How funny they both lay the same strange way. Is that the throws you always have on your couch or did you change them to red for the holidays?

@crazyhorseladycx It sounds like she has you trained just right . My two will use their nose and root under their blanket in their bed. Then when it's time for us all to go to bed, they both sleep with me. I stay nice and toasty warm

I think it's cute to watch dogs make their little beds ready before they slumber. I have had dogs that turn and turn around in the bed before getting comfortable. I have also seen them pull on their blankets with their teeth while they get their beds all nice and soft.

That is a strange way of lying but if they are comfortable that is what matters.

Long-haired dachshunds are so pretty. We thought about getting one when we were looking before we bought Daisy. I just wasn't sure I wanted a dog that had to be groomed all the time. Dachshunds are cute and very sweet but they can be stubborn and Daisy was (and still is sometimes) very hyper.
