Of course they are safe,if you read the statistics you will find that most people die due to road accidents in any country.

I think they are still pretty safe. Just recently, they ordered a bunch of MD80s to be pulled off the runways and inspected. I think that was a great idea even tough it costs the airline industry a lot of money. I know there have been wiring problems in the past with these planes. Now, I am more likely to fly knowing that they really checked them over recently.

yes airplanes are very safe .. especially when im flying them
