Hello Readers , I Have A Question . How Do You Guys Deal With Anxiety ? I Suffer From Depression & Anxiety , And I Wanted Some Tips & Opinions From Other People . When You're Having An Anxiety Attack , What Do You Do ? I Normally Count to 100 . Or Say My ABC's . Where Do You Guys Normally Have Anxiety Attacks ? I Would Normally Have Mine In A Crowded Place or Sometimes I Have Them Anywhere .. I Remember My First Time Having An Anxiety Attack . I Was At A Big, Crowded Place . All Of A Sudden , I Start Tingling & My Chest Was Hurting Badd! It Was Like Someone Punched Me In The Chest . And Then I Couldn't Breath .. It Was Scary , I Felt As If I Was Dying .

Crowded place does same thing to me. It's kinda more you think about it, more you will lose your control over the body. Normally Heart beat increases, Sweating and Couldn't breath is what we all experiences. It's our thinking that we will die soon. So to avoid, I try to control my mind and emotions. I usually try not to think that I am in crowed place. I try to concentrate on other things. Like when I am in train ( and here trains are most crowded thing ever lol ) I will be listening to music, playing candy crush and think about what I am going to do.

@httpkiyaaa It's not redeem of it but it may work for you. So give a try and see how it goes. Just don't panic in beginning, because once you lose control over your mind, Everything will fall apart.

I also suffer from anxiety and depression. When I have panic attacks I do times tables. There is also a really good hypnosis thing on youtube that works well if you are in a place where you can lay down. I used to have them really bad when I drove in heavy traffic when I lived in Minneapolis (I ended up going to the ER with a couple of those, thinking I was having a heart attack). I have always had them while trying to fall asleep. Sometimes I get them in crowded places. Then there are those lovely random ones that just crop up when you're doing absolutely nothing. I remember the first one I ever had was at a youth church meeting when I was about 10. I remember being super light headed, and not knowing what was happening to me, and I ended up running outside because I was panicking and ending up in some persons yard hiding behind her hedge until it passed.

@httpkiyaaa Remind yourself that it is only adrenalin. It is your body's fight or flight response, and there is nothing to be afraid of. Remind yourself that an anxiety attack will not kill you. An anxiety attack cannot cause a heart attack. Tell yourself that you are just fine, and there is no reason for your body to feel like it is in danger. You can talk yourself down :)

I think i had my first bout of anxiety attack when i was left alone in an enclosed room then there was a sudden power interruption. I felt i cannot breath. More like being a claustrophobic. It is hard to not to panic but really, being able to control your mind is the best way to deal with it. Grateful i got this tip from you to count to 100.
