I found how to make mini stockings and I thought they would be cute to give to my daughters teachers and her bus drivers. It was very easy to make and supper cute I have to say as well. I'm going to put a few little goodies in them that I can afford like candy canes, not chocolate, chocolates. I know a lot of other parents will give money but technically we are not suppose to do stuff like that at all. If I have a little extra cash I might be able to throw in a small gift card to them all.

It's such a sweet and nice gift! i think these mini stockings is a much better gift than money because you made them yourself and with love!:) It's attention that matters not money. Have a nice day!

I always tell the kids it's the thought that counts not what you give or get.

Those are cute stockings and I would be glad to receive them. It's the effort in gift giving that I appreciate the most.

Thanks! Her teachers have been teaching since my husbands sister went the school. So they do like small gifts or even notes

I don't know if I can afford a gift card. Candy and stuff is pretty cheap since they come with more then one.

@Tina30219 candy is pretty affordable especially around Christmas. The way you said that makes me think you think hat gift cards are cheaper. I didn't pay for the yarn, very rare that I do because I get it often as gifts with Christmas and birhday or my husband grandmother gives it to me because she is a knitter as well and hits the fle markets and gets a bunch. I'm already going to be getting candy canes for the kids three is three of them they are not going to eat all of those candy canes and I wouldn't let them. I have some other Christmas gifts that I need to get before I can add more things for the teachers. Teachers are normally happy with at least a card or something small because they know not all families have money where they can buy what every they like.
