How did you get so dirty? / myLot

Those were the words of my son directed at me when he returned home today. I had the day babysitting the grandsons and did we have fun, but it seems my son is concerned that I got very dirty in the process. Ha ha ha - The children had been tidied up because who wants to come home to grubby kids, rather come home to a grubby granny! I am exhausted but now I have to get ready for a Corporate Dinner with my hubby - the hair is about to be curled and teased so to day - Black dress is ready and the charm and attitude will switch on automatically when I apply my lipstick! The full scale of being a woman - From wife, to mother, to grandmother to mistress . . . . Oh la la!! Chat later - leave your calling card

Enjoy your Corporate Dinner. I am not dirty, but surely not ready to go to a dinner now, I have cleaned the fireplace to be ready to light it up tomorrow evening.

Lol, I am always more dirty than my kids too. I'm always worried about them looking neat and clean-not so much myself. It sounds like you had fun with them though, that's what matters!
