What Is Your Favorite Type of Music?

I was commenting to another myLotter about Peruvian flute music, that I happened to hear at an event several years ago and absolutely fell in love with it and purchased a CD. I love listening to this CD. Flute music is very beautiful to listen to. They played ancient songs that shepherds may have played years ago, but they also played modern songs that were easily recognizable. Have you ever heard Peruvian flute music? What is your favorite type of music? Some like Reggae, others like Soft Rock or Hard Rock. Still others like American Country Music or Classical Music. I like a variety of music, depending on the mood I’m in, but I can always listen to Doo Wop music of the 50s. The Platters and the Temptations and many other 50s groups and individuals. Of course, Elvis was from that era also and Johnny Cash. My least favorite is Hard Rock or Rap Music. Both have a good beat usually, but I don’t care for the lyrics or the loud screaming most of the time.

I mainly like heavy metal music. But I do like a variety of different music. Although I doubt flute music would be one of them. I also am no fan of country music. But, we do need many styles of music in this world. After all, it is the universal language.

True. Almost everyone likes music of some kind. Even little babies respond to music. I've seen some really cute videos on Instagram and even Facebook.

I've heard Peruvian pipe music and find it very haunting. I like all sorts of music really but always enjoy the pop songs from when I was a teenager.

Now I'm listening to easy going or sentimental songs as they calm me. You?

@Bluedoll Yes I have one of my stations in the car tuned to an "Easy Listening" station. I like sentimental music and soft music when I'm driving.

I think you told me before that you like hard rock. It's just too loud for me. To each his own.
