Are women more soft and compassionate for children?

It has been seen that in playhouses and kindergartens all across the world, the nursery teachers are mainly women.
One of the reasons is from their caring nature towards their own children, they have more patience, softness and compassion towards the children.
Small children require some time. They learn new things. Men sometimes are a bit harsh to them whenever they cannot perform tasks.
Elderly people should create a good environment for learning for the children.

Ever since a college friend invited me to play music for her preschool children, I have loved working with very small children. And they seem drawn to me. I am a man. I think men sometimes have MORE patience with children. But there's not a lot of money in ECE, so most men won't do it.

I think Pony it is a special gene inherent...either the person has it, or the person does not. Gender is immaterial...same thing about sensitivity. I think we women can be extremely cruel...right now I am in that mode though not towards children...I had 2000 bucks in my purse and there was this guy begging...and I know how tough recent times are but parting with 2000 note instead of of 5 rupee note ..nope vanny not gonna do that ...even though that guy's need was in all probability more than mine...not feeling nice about me today...

@sathviksouvik children will be drawn to (and learn from) anyone who listens to them carefully and plays with them.

Thanks Cristy, yes, when children come to playhouse or kindergarten, they are exposed to school environment for the first time. any type of harsh treatment can dishearten them.

@sathviksouvik Yes that's right.
Sometimes they develop separation anxiety. That is because of change of environment and people they are with.

That's true, but then elderly people should also be taken care of.

yes only woman can have that touch and feeling for kids emotions not a unmarried girls sometimes. kids in playhouses takes their teacher as a woman like their mother who some what care for them love them and listen and interact with them. if she do not do this children became sad and refuse to go to play school.

@His_chariot Thanks Janice, these days some of the women are losing the motherly instinct. But by nature they are softer than men.

Women having the mother instincts are the more caring ones , because taking care of children is innate in them . The caring and doing things for the children comes naturally .

I think it is usually a natural thing for women to be the caretaker of children. After all we were created to carry the children and birth them. Natural motherhood instinct in most women.
