Amazon Go

I wanted to ask how many would go to the future new store opening in 2017. Amazon Go has no cashiers, lines or registers, so would be fast to shop. You walk into the store scan the QR Code at turnstile with your cell phone. You must have the Amazon Shoppers App and an Amazon Account. Put groceries into your cart and there will be ready made items, milk, bread and other items. When you walk out Amazon charges your credit card. Store location Seattle, Washington open to public in 2017. I don't go to Seattle often, but would send my daughter to shop, as it would be quick and easy to get milk and eggs. Would you do most or all of your shopping this way?

I should check the quality of their goods. This is the way I decide where to buy my grocery. I do not believe I would like to pay with my phone using an app, there are too many hackers around.

That is one of my concerns. I haven't talked to my daughter yet to find out, if she would want to use the service. I don't have a Smart Phone just a cell that I can make calls.

I probably would not. I have no credit cards and have no interest in having any. I also like to support businesses that employ people. I think places like this take away jobs and I would not support such a place.

I agree would take away jobs. Several of my friends don't have credit cards, as pay cash for everything or don't buy it. They all bought their homes when housing was low and don't owe anything.

I don't think so no credit cards and no smart phone. I rather do my own shopping any ways.

I think its great to see so many response they don't use credit cards. No worries about paying bills that aren't there. Have a good night.

I prefer shops with human store assistants and cashiers - such automation kills jobs

I agree that there are people that won't have jobs in Seattle. The minimum wage is $13 hour an hour and going to be $15 there next year. I can understand why companies are looking for ways to hire less people. I use to have a business and there is no way my business would have lasted paying out a wage of $15 an hour when I started my business. I think we will see more automation, as places increase the minimum wage,

I will be watching to see how well it works in Seattle. Right now only employees are going to the store. I do think a lot of people would like to be able to get their groceries faster. Several of the stores in this area you can order groceries and have groceries delivered to avoid the long grocery lines here in Southern California.
