The man who upholsters just left.

I just bid goodbye ( and never to see him again) to the man who upholsters. I discovered that is was a much better idea to buy new furniture unless I find someone who does the job for a better price. I am in a state of shock and so is Leticia, who was listening to his conversation while washing the breakfast dishes. So, dear lotters, I´ll say good morning to you and I´ll go for a cup of coffee to repair my soul after this. See you later.

I find that those upholster people charge way too much and if you don't like the product, you can't return it. So I think that it is better to buy the furniture.

I just asked Leticia to see if she knows someone in her neighborhood. Many of the prices depend on it and I live in a rather expensive one.

Yeah I bet its quite costly especially since its all handmade. I hope you find another person who can do it for a more affordable price or perhaps new furniture.

If I add all the wrote, it was over $1.000 for the job (besides the fabric).

If it is an expensive piece or extremely comfortable, it may be worth the expense. If not it may be cheaper to purchase new stuff.

What a shame it will be too expensive as you said it is nice, solid furniture. What will you do now with your old furniture? Will you try to sell it?
