Many years ago my husband came home and said he heard this song on the radio. He said it brought a tear to his eye, that it made him think of us. I just looked the song up on YouTube and it is so fitting right now. I wish I knew a way I could put it on his iPod on a loop. I think he needs to hear it right now. It's Faith Hill's "It Matters to Me". You can check it out here:

@Happy2BeMe I know. I did remind him of the song today and he (jokingly, or not) said he didn't like her (Faith Hill) anymore. There's no getting through to that guy!

@Happy2BeMe He seems to be digging in his heels. I think I am going to write him a letter. He may not be in love with me but he does love me. As family, as his wife, as the mother of his children... heck, we are God's children and love each other. If he didn't love me he wouldn't still be loving and sweet with me. He would be trying to be home as little as possible. He asked me to go to a movie again last night.

@patgalca That is sad. Sounds like he just doesn't want to make things better.

Do you normally play music at home? It could be part of a mix of background music, playing in your home.

@Morleyhunt I have quite a few Faith Hill cd's so I'll have to check and see if this song is on any of them. I think it is.

@Stessia That's why opposites attract, isn't it? So one balances out the other's weaknesses.
