Most people see New York as an Air polluted city with lots of buildings, Little did they know it has nature reserves like the Hallett Nature Sanctuary and fresh creek park.

I have no idea about NYC and places you could visit there. If you could make it, it would be advisable to go to Niagara falls, which is treat to watch.

There are certainly a lot of interesting places to visit in the US. I have never been there but I hope I will sooner or later. I always imagine myself visiting beautiful places such as beaches or hills overlooking beautiful cities. I will be able to do a variety of things there as well. Is there a park like Hydepark in London? Is it as big or perhaps bigger?

I stayed in the New York Hilton and literally walked every interesting street in Manhatton. I found cafes were great for people watching and the coffee bar at the top of the escalator in the Trump building. Times Square is a must . My only problem was understanding how tipping works. You will love it.

@Harriet1993 Tipping in the US is wierd. Here we tip waiters and sometimes taxi drivers what we want There it forms part of the wage and there are set conventions.

@Jackalyn really.... Of course they have a completely different way of life out there it's amazing how different they are from us. I find it difficult to believe how much tax they have to pay and no NHS!!!! But I guess that's why they have health insurance
