Cat crimes

After getting to bed very late Monday night (well into Tuesday morning actually) we were very tired after the test at the dialysis place.
So tired, in fact, that we both fell asleep when we got home, in our chairs, before we ate dinner.
So, instead of being really tired when I got to bed, I had a couple'a naps under my belt.
Now, for whatever reason, the cats have been really bad lately, peeing everywhere, except it seems, the cat litter.
Still, I get to bed around 11 and I'm trying to go to sleep, and it seems that every time I doze off, the cats do something in the kitchen.
I heard several "clunks", I also heard them shift something in the sink. After Flower started throwing up in my bed - I threw her off - I finally had to get up and go back into the front room to stare at the computer for a while to get sleepy enough to go back to sleep.
Even then, just as I was drifting off I heard a really big thump, but I wasn't going to investigate because it wasn't the sound of anything breaking.
I get up this morning and discovered that one of the cats had knocked the bin of dog treats on the floor and it was empty.
If they had been "milk bones" Boe mightn't of eaten them all, but they weren't.
Still, things could've been worse, he didn't tear up the container like he would've a couple'a years ago...

My goodness, what a busy household! Sounds as if your cats are protesting something, maybe all the unusual activity that gets started around the holidays? I'm sure they will settle down after the New Year but they are so much like children, aren't they? Have a great day and give those critters some extra love.

Taj took an instant dislike to the new dog, but I think he was protesting the loss of "his" dog, Zoe. I really don't know exactly what they are upset about since some of this started before all the big changes. Unless the roomie not working for 2 months was the problem, well, she's back at work now...
