I agree - it's unfair. The good thing is that they allow you to leave your own comment underneath to dispute if someone puts something that isn't true. I had one sale where I sent the item priority shipping, but they weren't there to pick it up on the three tries, so it went to the post office for a week, they didn't pick it up and it was sent back to me. So I told them I would ship it again, but they had to pay me the shipping fee first to send it again. I would send it so they didn't have to sign for it which was cheaper. They said nevermind, got attitude and then put on my thing that I never shipped the item. So I told them that was a lie and if anyone wanted proof I would send them a photo of the returned package!! It never hurt my sales... :O)

I sold on ebay for abount 1 year, and i found the feedback system very unfair to a seller. a buyer can say anything and give bad feedback to a seller when it may not be warranted

i know, and it isn't fair that when you pay for an item quickly and do everything right, that the seller gets to wait on your feedback before they will leave you any. That pretty much means, if I leave a negative feedback because the seller was slow, the item was wrong or damaged, then I am going to get a negative feedback because they are mad at me, even though I didn't do anything wrong.

The feedback is there to help us, sometimes it doesn't work that way. I have bought and sold on ebay. I have 100% positive feedback. I have had 2 buyers win my auctions and not pay. I didn't leave them negative feedback, because I didn't want negative from them when I didn't do anything wrong. It would be nice if ebay can do something about that to help the honest buyers and sellers out.
