My 7yr old loves waking up in the morning looking for his elf to see what kind of misgif he got into over night. The funny thing is I think I enjoy putting him out with a different idea every night and sometimes I wish we had more days of him. It's fun creative and helps with being good and good deeds. Also, I love the smile it puts on my sons face.

A fewizard years back my grand daughter's elf was here and I had so much fun moving him around when she was visiting. The smiles Madrid it all worth it. Now she has two elves at home and she calls me almost every day and tells me where she found her elves in the morning and what trouble they got into. lol

Kids are so much fun, or at least they can be.
Some adults are kid-like too. I have a neighbor who has the cutest kids. They are named after vehicles, Auto and Harley. Yes, that's right: Auto.
Anyway, every spring Katiree (the neighbor) puts out a garden gnome. She says it sometimes disappears and then she gets a postcard from it, and sometimes there's a picture of it standing in front of scenery. I guess her gnome takes a vacation!

We never had those when I was a child but it would have been fun. My SIL has one every year and they don't even have kids, she just loves the elf!

That is funny. I think the adults that have to put them out have just as much fun as the kids that get up to find them

Wow that's good of you making that effort, something for him to remember when he grows up.
