Something I can honestly say I bought with MyLot earnings!

I already have a KLH Model 21 radio. But when I saw this one on eBay for $50, plus $30 shipping, I knew I had to slap down a bid. These things are getting more and more rare, and a working KLH Model 21 sounds really good. I was surprised to win it for $50. If not for my MyLot earnings over a year and a half or so, I probably wouldn't have bothered slapping down a bid. I'll have to glue down that front grille cloth, and I already removed the little scratches on the tuning knob. I also probably refinish the wood, though it doesn't look that bad as is. Whether I keep this one or sell it down the road (for $125 or so, in today's market) remains to be seen. Have you ever bought something that you probably wouldn't have bought if not for the "little extra" you make on MyLot?

Weed and cat food. Those sound like worthy causes.

I haven't made enough on MyLot to buy much of anything. How much can I get for $5? Next payout will bring me $6. Okay, now I'll have $11, a number so low that even I can do the math, lol. But a penny is a penny, as I've heard, so I certainly won't be an ingrate or turn it down.

That is a nice gift you got yourself their. As of lately since being back to mylot only reached payout twice and all my earnings are being saved right now to go towards a new laptop if I don't get it for Christmas. So as you know I am working hard to at least get 10.00 a month anything more will be great. I think I have almost 18.00 saved towards one.

It's from 1966. I saw that on the "speaker" on the inside when I opened it up to spray the "guts" with De-Oxit.

Wow... Such an ancient radio...!... Forty years older than I am!... And still functional!... I'm still a newbie here... I have to leave the money be in my PayPal....as a rescue fund for emergencies, I think.

Yep, except the dang thing is no better or worse than the one I already have. I'll probably sell it. I'm a heartless bast-rd.

Now that I see the photo I think to remember that my grandmother had one. May be it is still inside their old house. I bought a new Canon digital camera with part of my earnings.

No, but the little extra here and from swagbucks and other surveys do add up and help with the general funds.

Not really. Actually being on MyLot has really caused me t appreciate the little things and the value of a dollar. I hope one day , I too, can purchase something as a memento of my time spent here. But right now I have found that others sited are more productive where earnings are concern. On that site I buy and then sell again...they call it sponsoring.

I can't say I've bought anything with myLot earnings, at least not directly. Everything I make on myLot, surveys, or other internet earnings go straight into the savings account and I just pretend I never saw it. Thank God for my savings account when I could not pay my bills last month or a couple years ago when my son was so ill from infected teeth and needed dental care. All funds that I make online go to savings except the gift certificates and those go to Amazon for Christmas and birthdays. I'm so glad you got something you wanted, that looks like a really cool radio!

Not yet. So far just the odd latte. This month I am earmarking it for Christmas. How enterprising to restore a radio like that. You make me think I will invest anything I make this month.

They really do. And the sound is really good, IF you can get your favorite station(s) from where you are. Given that they're 50-years-old, they're all a tad out of "alignment."
