Well it depends on several factors. First is religion....is it required by your belief? some orthodox christians require it...as well as catholics, muslims and jewish people. it is a covenant with God as was written in the bible. Second, health reasons. Not unless you believe that in the long run boys will have no problem with it...then dont do it but it is best to have it since circumcision per se have health benefits such as lower incidence of HIV, some forms of genital CA and of course you would avoid the formation of smegma...which is quite disturbing.

Most people here are catholics and circumcision isn't so common here anymore. It is not required for catholics.
Boys just need to learn proper hygiene I think. These days we take many showers anyways, It's not like the old days where they sewed you into you winter clothes in the fall and you didn't bath till spring.

It depends upon you if you want your son to have it. When they get older, they will have to decide it for themselves, that is, if you decide against it now. Boys can be circumcised when they are as young as 5 days old. My son is thankful he had it as a baby. There were no complications and the wound healed perfectly.
