The Weather Outside is Frightful

Winter has arrived with about an inch of snow which has now turned into sleet. If this wintry mix doesn't turn to rain later this evening then we're in for a slippery morning.
These are the days when I'm happy I'm retired and don't have to worry about rush hour traffic. I do feel bad for those who have to go to work when the weather is frightful and my grandkids who have to ride the school bus on bad days.
It's probably wishful thinking that we'll all get up to a sunny morning tomorrow.
IN the meantime, the season finale of The Walking Dead is on tonight and I hope the finale leaves us with anticipation for the next season.

...but the fire is so delightful. And since we've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. LOL Stay safe.

When it's stinking hot or pouring with rain I'm always really pleased that we don't have to go to work too. Hooray for retirement! :)

Ugh I hate snow because it seems like I usually have to go out in it, and I always have to shovel it. Luckily tonight we are just getting enough to stick to the cars a little. And I'm sitting inside watching "Frozen" on TV.

Your title took me to Nat King Cole and his Christmas Carol - Let it Snow - "The weather outside is dreadful but the fire is so delightful"
Hope your fire is delightful too (lol)

No snow here in our California valley, but it has been downright chilly the last few days !

Sleet isn't good. I hope it isn't bad for driving tomorrow. We got six inches and the plows have been out all evening. I just looked thinking it was still snowing, but it doesn't look like it, though it is dark and hard to tell, but the roads look clear, so they might be salting to keep them from getting icy over night.

There is nowhere I need to go until tomorrow afternoon....al this snowy, slippery mess should be cleaned up by then.
