So Excited 2 Days Away!

Feels technically more like one because this day is basically over. I am so excited about our trip to Philadelphia to have fun with my family! I am trying to focus on the excitement I have for this trip to get me through finals but I am positive I will probably fail this art class. I can't focus for studying for it and I never wrote a paper that was supposed to be due tomorrow. I don't really care.
I have already started packing the huge bag I bought to fit all of our stuff. I did the right thing buying that bag because it fits everything I need and still has extra space. I have packed my son's clothes, clothes for myself, Christmas gifts, toiletries, and I am thinking of maybe bringing some books but i am not 100% sure. I have decided not to bring my son's car seat because my cousin has the same car seat that I can borrow while I am there. I have switched everything and packed my son's big diaper bag to use it instead of the small one. My mom has a stroller for him at her house already. I have made a checklist and will be checking it twice to ensure that I have everything packed up and ready to go tomorrow night so I can focus on getting my son and I prepared food wise for the trip there. Hopefully tomorrow we can buy some premade stuff for snacks for when we are on the bus. I hope my son sleeps most of the bus ride too.
What do you do to prepare for a trip? Do you pack snacks? What snacks do you pack?

@IvySaysHi Yes, you need some snacks to keep your son busy. Bring something not too sweet. If he likes sandwiches, I think they are a good snack.

I also prepare a check list prior to a trip. Check list helps a lot and always minimize chances of forgetting things required during the trip. I usually carry dry snacks like Biscuits, walnut cake, pickles, poori (Indian bread) etc etc during a long trip. I agree with you that avoid to carry the things that are already already available at destination :))

Makes sure you have everything before you consider going for that trip.

If I visit my parents, it will take 10 hours for me to reach their place. I just prepare my laptop and some paper works since I have clothes at their place. As to snacks, the bus I take serves free snacks.

I am sure greyhound doesn't serve snacks. I wish I could just take my laptop.

Preparing for a trip I just pack the essentials. I seldom pack snacks but when I do I usually bring some trail snacks.
