I am here to find native English Speakers

December 12, 2016 8:36am CST
I am here to find native English speakers who are willing to teach the English language through the Internet. It doesn't really matter if you are retired guys, housewives, or something like that as long as English is your first language. I am looking forward to your responses.

Why do you think that people can *teach* their native language? Could you teach yours to a foreigner? What can you learn from a housewife who has never reflected her native language? What kind of retired 'guy' are you thinking of? What you've written really makes me laugh because teaching languages is my thing. You can only teach a language well if you've studied it and this is also true for your native language. Native speakers can only help you with the pronunciation and colloquial speech but are rarely capable of explaining grammar rules. You can believe me. I'm German. I taught English at secondary grammar schools in Germany for 40 years. We often had English students at our schools as foreign language assistants. They were usually nice people but didn't have the foggiest idea about their native language and could explain nothing. I'm retired now but I still can explain every grammar rule by heart. Yet, I'm done with teaching and won't do it anymore. Try this language learning site You write and talk there and are corrected. English is a bit tricky because you won't only find English people as 'teachers'. People may correct you who aren't perfect themselves. Yet, it's a good way to learn a language. The basic course is free. You only pay if you want to do more exercises.

Firstly, my thanks go to your sincere response which I really appreciated. Maybe I didn't express myself and the situation in China clearly. Well, most Chinese students here studied English for 10 years ,but they can not speak good English because teachers only taught them how to answer questions(so-called test-oriented education) not to speak the language. That's why I said I need English speaking guys to help them, just talk, not "teach". Secouldly, I have to say Germans speak perfect English and I concur with your opinions. Thank you again , but sorry to hear you won't teach anymore.

Are you looking for an English teacher who teaches grammar the right way and by the book with a degree in Education major in English? Or are you looking for somebody to teach plain, practical and conversational English or English that you can use day to day?

@Peterwu111 Oh I'm sorry for the wrong spelling, you see I'm using my Smart phone while lying down lol and I find it rather difficult to type. btw, this site is not strict when it comes to grammar and spelling, in fact it encourages non-native speskers to participate in the discussions. I think your English is perfect, yes I am interested to help out and share my English proficiency if you may call it that but only on my spare time, actually I'm bilingual, multi-lingual if you would count our native dialects.

@Peterwu111 Sorry, this is not correct. Grammar and spelling are not the same thing. You can spell badly but use grammar correctly. You can spell correctly but have no idea about grammar.
