Made it back home safely and glad to be home and off the roads

There were cars off the road everywhere. Cars slipping and sliding everywhere but I took my time and finally got here. Coming up the big hill was a bit tricky with cars coming down. I was finally able to breath easy once I pulled into the driveway.

Thanks. Sometimes I have no choice to but I would rather be at home during a storm

Yes it is and the sad part is that it has only just begun. We got months of it to go.

I bet you were saying to yourself "there's no place like home" "there's no place like home". Glad you made it safe and sound

I went shopping and the roads were fine here. In fact, the sun was shining and the air was fresh. A bit slippery on the sidewalks but manageable. I didn't even wear my boots, my running shoes were fine.

@1hopefulman I probably wouldn't do so well since I can't speak French. I speak a bit but not enough to live in Montreal. lol

I don't like winter driving either......grrr
We had a little over 15 cm here, but it was mild enough that a lot thawed, of course tonight it has all refroze.
But the roads are all clear and dry, there might be some frozen slush on the side streets, but nothing major.

And ya know what really kills me @Happy2BeMe ? You would think when it's icy or it has snowed that people would pull their heads out of their butts and change the pattern of their driving.....but no.....they still think they can drive fast and stop on a dime.
