I felt naked without my phone!

A quick drive down the street to pick up dinner should have been no more than 15-20 minutes. It turned out it was longer than I expected. Why? I forgot my phone! I was alone and had nothing to do while waiting... not only that but once I got my food.. I was half way home to realize they forgot my side steak! I had to drive back and luckily my parking spot (right in front was not taken). Super annoyed Now eating dinner! Edit: I forgot to also mention, I checked my receipt after ordering because I wanted guacamole, and sub guacamole so double guacamole instead of sour cream but the cashier put double sour cream!

Oh no! You had to go an entire 15-20 minutes without your phone? Oh the agony! How did you survive? Is that why I haven't heard from you lately? LOL

@moffittjc no looking at your phone at the traffic light :) what if it turned green and you get honked for not paying attention! Plus here we can get a ticket, is the law enforced in flordia too?

@infatuatedbby We have become so dependent on our smartphones, it's pretty crazy! I am the same way. If I am waiting in line somewhere, or if I am sitting at a traffic light, I will be on my smartphone. On those days where I don't have my phone with me, or I'm in a place or situation where I can't use my phone, I feel like I am missing out on something. It's that need to always be connected!

I hate waiting especially when I don't have my phone with me. My phone is the best cure for boredom.

It means you are very much addicted to your phone and if you do not have it, you just cannot pass your time waiting for something or somebody.

@infatuatedbby Yes, you are right that our smart phones work as a mini computer for us and when we are alone and waiting for someone, our phones help us keep ourselves busy.

I wonder why people seem to feel incomplete whenever they left or forgot their cellphone. I am one of them too. Cellphone is really a necessity i think...

Ick that sounds like it would have really ruined the meal adding the extra sour cream instesd of guacamole! That really would have just put my night at a bad ending by that point!

Yeah but luckily I caught it before it was given to me.Regardless if they did scoop me two scoops of sour cream ~ id ask them to give me guacamole instead but I don't like sour cream so I don't want it to touch my quesadilla =P

Who would have thought that these days 15-20 minutes feels long when before we can wait for like an hour or two and still feel okay with it. What did technology do to us?

I m on facebook and whatsapp but i hardly use it. I m a women of few words, don't like talking too much all the time. My husband gifted me a new handset last month which i never wanted to buy again. My planning was to be away from the phone as it has always interrupted my privacy. But, it was the scene untill i was not signup on mylot. Now things and thinking both are changed.

@infatuatedbby no...Not exactly. We use it to stay connect with our loved ones but all my loved ones live locally to my house so either they visit to me or i visit to them. So for me it is not much in use. It is specially in use for receving OTP or bank transaction msg.
