Merry Christmas Mylot, hope this isn't too early

I created this Christmas card from a photo I took many years ago of one of mom's Christmas trees to send to my online buddies, well you are my online buddies so MERRY CHRISTMAS ..... just go with it, I know not everyone celebrates but hey, isn't it the thought that counts?
I hope everyone has a superfantastic holiday season.
Sooo, how much of the shopping have you gotten done for all those special meals and presents your planning?

I can't remember all that much about Germany @pgntwo I was between 7 and 9 when dad was stationed there. As for candles on the tree, I think it had more to do with mom being comfortable with them and the limited funds she had to provide a nice Christmas, candles worked magic as I just can't seem to get into all t hose electric lighted trees.

Beautiful tree! Merry Christmas to you as well. I have most of the shopping done. I need to get a few or ethings for my parents and my MIL but that is it.

I'm not shopping this year, our kids are getting money, the hubby doesn't want anything and I have one gift to get for my best friend so that will get done this week. I will be making cookies for the kids to take home too...Merry Christmas to you!

Isn't it nice not to have to shop for gifts anymore? I think Christmas is only about toy r us or what not instead of being just a wonderful time to spend with family.
