After 9 months, my mom has finally moved back to her house. She sure procrastinated and it's not like I could come right out and tell her that she needed to go. She was approved for a program through Interfaith Housing to pay up to $1500 to repair her furnace. When the company heard that it wasn't on at all they came right out the next day. They ended up putting in a new one instead of repairing a 35 year old furnace. The man told her that the remainder of the money was on him. He said he knows my brother from the Men's Encounters. What a blessing! In the meantime, of course I am still not done sewing up the drawstring backpacks for Christmas. Still trying to do way too many things at once. I still don't have the Christmas tree up yet as the space where it goes will yet take me more time to clean up. I'm also now in the process of putting things back where they were, where I want them in the kitchen. Of course with her gone I will now have to wash the dishes as well as feed the animals. I do hope to get in more before the month is over as I still need $1.50 to reach $5 and get paid next month. Lord knows I need the money!

I need money too, life is just so hard these days. Most specially if there's no other option offline.

I really think that it will be good for all of you for your mom to be back in her own place. It does not work real well to have too many adult women in a kitchen. Lots of disagreeing.

That was certainly a blessing! Glad to hear that she is able to move back in her home. Try to slow down and take a minute for yourself.

She did the right thing to replace the old furnace, we had to replace ours three years ago and it was only 30 year old. Good luck for the payout.

At least you have the house for yourself again . No need to be minded by someone on things not to her liking .

We all need money, at least I do.... Wow! 9 months.... You both tried... It is not easy for her to live her home and leave someplace else...and it is not easy to share your space with someone else too...
