People who work from home

December 13, 2016 12:33am CST
There is very weird mindset of people towards the people who work from home. Obviously, it is not good to show off earning to set an image in society. However, it has become important for people to do little show off to change the mindset of people. I really love to work from the comfort of home. Because of some reasons like: I joined two company to work this year in march and june respectively. I stopped working there as I have to waste 2 hours of my life daily in bus. Secondly, I don't like to work under someone. And I don't like buttering people. I am sharing this as I think there are people over here who will relate with it. Please share your point in the comments.

My husband has been self employed during all his life, I have worked with him, we had a office room in our home and it has worked well for us.

I wish to work from home. I don't like deal with people for long period. It can do it and play nice. But I feel fake and that can get me all work up.people feel like working from is a lazy job. Second that you have mental problem if you don't work. A normal and going alone with mainstream ideas on working.

@snehalo so true and mess things up for new people. They don't even given you a chance to show your skills. It more about being a favorite.

True.. I hate being a part of office politics.. and neither I like to waste my time doing nothing in office.. I can better do different things in single day by working from home than being somewhere people will judge you upon your arrival and leaving time, your dress sense and your buttering skills..

Nowadays, there are many jobs we can realize at home in front of the computer. Internet is the world which connect us with any part of the world. That means that not only your job possilities are growing, but also your number of clients who may encharge you any kind of job. The benefits are hundreds. As you well said, you don't have to spend more time with the transfer in the bus or by car. You also can decide the hours you want to work, your timetable, you choose your work and your clients, as well as how much you want to earn in a month...

I think you need a lot of discipline if you work from home. Besides, many people need the contact with colleagues. But if it works for someone, why not? Nobody has to justify what they do for anyone else. I don't understand, however, what this has to do with 'showing off'.

I work three (main) jobs, and all three require me to be at the job site or in the field most of the time. I'd be bored if I were at home for most of my day.

I agree with you sir and that is why I am saying everyone is different.. by work from home, I don't mean the person stays at home all the time.. It is just being able to move across the country, cover other people's interview, pictures, opinions and earn rather than seating in front of your office computer for 9 hours and wasting the whole day.. but obviously everyone is not meant to be like that.. and it is unfair to judge a person's abilities based on only one factor which working in the office under someone..
