Any Good News Today?

I watch a lot of news on TV, and most of it is bad news about murders, assault, robberies, arrests. The best news I heard today was about the US National Guard celebrating its 380th birthday today. Who knew the National Guard had been around so long? Did you hear any good news on TV today that you'd like to share?

You are right most of the news networks will go with the bad news for the ratings.

It is a branch of the military which trains to handle domestic crises such as the aftermath of hurricanes, fires or with civil unrest.

It does get kind of monotonous seeing different people say the same thing over and over again. That's what most of the news networks do.
