I will miss him

My husband's brother passed away yesterday in Arkansas, so my husband is flying out there tomorrow.
Tommy never took care of himself. We think he probably had a heart attack since he had several in the past. He wouldn't make the effort to maintain relationships and was actually rather self-centered.
I hope he didn't suffer. It's sad there probably won't be very many people at his funeral.
I will miss my husband until he comes back home, but I'm sorry that most likely, very few people will miss his brother.

I am sorry to hear that. I am glad that her husband was able to be there though. Sad when somebody lives their life in that way. In the end they have few people who care. Wishing your husband safe travels.

Had he always been this way, or did something happen to trigger this behaviour?

He was the baby in the family and was totally spoiled. He never outgrew it.

Sorry to hear that. What made him a loner? was he an unpleasant person to be around? As far as l know, im a serious loner, apart from my husband and the people l work with who l only see at work, l have more or less no contact to the outside world but l more choose it this way, my health is not the best so im happier home and l dont want to hold people back to stay home with me.
Let`s hope Tommy did not suffer in his final moments.

Thank you. I hope it was quick and that he did not suffer. He was a loner because after awhile, people got tired of always being the giver and he was the taker. He just thought he was entitled to everything in life and had no interest in giving back.

Sorry to hear the news, sounds like he was a bit of an introvert actually but what few friends he had might be very close ones, so at least he had that, and he had your husband as well.

The reason he had no friends was because he never once in his 65 years did anything for anyone else.

Sorry to hear about your brother in law. It is really sad when people don't make the most of the lives they are given.

It is sad, not only because he's gone at 65, but that he just didn't seem to fulfill God's purpose for his life.

How sad. It always makes me feel so sad when someone passes away almost unnoticed by the rest of the world. I'm sure it was his own fault, but it still feels awful to me to think that, when he was born, there had to be so much hope for the life of that child. And then something had to have gone dreadfully wrong.

With him, I think it was just that he was always spoiled as the baby of the family when the rest of the kids had to work hard on the farm. Then he just never realized that you have to give in life and not always take. He wasn't a bad person, just selfish and unaware of life.

That is sad @1creekgirl . And what a shame. And it makes it worse particularly at this time of year.
