He said since he's "...like, a really smart person. .." it's not necessary for him to receive daily intelligence briefings. Really? NOT getting the briefings is far from smart! Anyway, he said he's "like a smart person", not that he IS a smart person. Don't tell me that was just the way he speaks because a truly SMART person doesn't toss "like" in every sentence when they're speaking to the media or the public.
I want my President to be an actual smart person and therefore want to know what's going on.

His daughter Ivanka is smart and articulate....His campaign manager Kellyanne Conway is smart and she is a good marketer.... I am not sure if I can say the same thing about him.

@topffer Excellent point about her not being registered. I'm sure she did for the general though, although I've heard she and her husband had both previously been registered Democrats and had donated to Democratic candidates. Still, it's all about money for her, she even marketed her convention dress.

What is a smart person suppose to sound like? do they all talk the same way. Obama has only taken in about half of his briefings....does that mean that he is not smart, or that he does not know what is going on?
Donald Trump also said that he will be available at a moments notice if their is a change in anything. He knows what is going on, and will know if anything changes.

Of course they don't all sound alike but none of them sound like Donald. I mean, have you listened to his speeches? It's been said his grammar and speech style is slightly below a sixth grader's. For sure, smart people don't go around TELLING people they're smart.
Where did you get the information that Obama has only taken in "about half" of his briefings? From Donald or one of his minions? He gets his briefings no matter where he is and so could Donald but he's more interested in tweeting about Alec Baldwin and showing off that Kanye West has come to call. He's shown time and time again that he has no clue what's going on. He's still attacking our intelligent agencies for reporting that Russia hacked our election. Unlike a smart person, he seemed to forget that it had been reported and discussed before the election, even by HIM in the debates, when he actually asked WHY it wasn't brought up before the election. I think he's lost it.

@dlr297 Hillary hasn't "already done" anything that comes close to the fraud Trump has committed against the same ordinary working people he now claims to champion. Ask the owners of the Miami paint shop and the 22 other businesses just from that location alone who have filed suit against him for nonpayment for work done on his golf club. He's a pathological liar and I wouldn't trust him if he said the sky was blue.
If they find the evidence I'm pretty sure is out there somewhere that he was in cahoots with Putin to try to influence our elections, that's treason. He's already been in discussions about business holdings in foreign countries with foreign leaders and his daughter has sat in on meetings. That's a clear conflict of interest. He's in debt to Russia, China and Germany to the tune of hundreds of billions. I sure see a huge problem with that.

@anniepa Everything that you talk of is Civil claims, and the courts will take care of that....That is all about money nothing criminal......You said treason and prison..what did he do...Their is no proof that Trump did anything with Putin...Their is also no proof that the election was influenced at all...
He is a business man, and businesses have debt....Their is no proof that Russia holds any of his debt....China does we know that... What business meetings has he had with different countries that has been about his companies since he was elected.. All the talk that has been going on is nothing but speculation, and things like he could do this he could do that..If he does do anything against the law he should be held accountable,
The united states of America is in debt With China, Germany and who know who else.China has been selling our debt we have with them to many different sources over the last month....Who really owns the USA......Does that mean we have a conflict of interest as a nation. When Obama took office our national debt was around 9 trillion it is now almost 20 trillion.....
Hillary let our men die in Benghazi, Turned her back on them and then lied about it...Hillary was doing business as secretary of state on a unsecured server, and she put everybody in danger.....She cheated to win the Democratic nomination for President....

@TheHorse Which helps make my point about him not being so smart. I'm not sure he DOES know less than half voted for him, he's still claiming he won in a historical landslide. He's also still saying there's no evidence the Russians hacked us, he's more on the side of Putin than our own CIA and FBI. I'm not sure if that's "smart" or "stupid" but I think it IS TREASON.

@anniepa We may be the butt of many jokes, but I think we have been for years anyway. We will see whether his policies are actually damaging to us. He knows that less than half of us voted for him. And that the Russians may have helped put him in office.

Just another silly rant against Trump. Being a successful businessman, he doesn't like activities that waste time if it's a simple repetition of the day before. He's there to get something done, unlike the present administration, maybe do something to help that horrific, tragic situation in Aleppo? That would be a good thing.

@anniepa Saying Putin is Trump's idol is totally ridiculous. The liberal media is hyping this up, along with everything else, stretching the truth way beyond recognition to discredit Trump.
