Has anyone heard of these or had any experience with them? I was surfing the web and I read a little about a few websites that you can sign up for and assuming you pass all the tests, you can get paid to transcribe audio.
I first looked at one called TranscribeMe where you can supposedly make around $20 per hour of audio you transcribe. Apparently you first have to pass their test, which I have not attempted yet. There were a few other sites I found but I am going to check them out first and then Ill post with my findings.
It seems like this would be nice to do every once and again for a little extra. Currently I personally only do surveys but always looking for a way to make a buck -lol!
Have any of you had any experience with this sort of site? Any to suggest? Do share!

It seems like it is worth a try. Occasionally I have to transcribe a recorded phone call that I made as a mystery shop. I have to listen to a little , type, listen again, etc. It takes me forever to type out a short conversation.
I am guessing to make the $20 one has to be faster than I am. I would need training to get faster.

Many people earned on that kind of job, one of those is my friend she payout around $500 a month. But she said the exam is really hard. She did medical transcribing and she said if you do medical transcribing you have to be familiar of medical terminologies. I didn't because i know i can't.
