Today I am taking my 12 year old daughter out for a glamour day at the salon. Due to her recent hospitalizations we were doing really bad financially. See my daughter has a whole bunch of health issues. One year ago this week she received a life saving Kidney Transplant. It has been a bumpy ride this year getting back to good health and we are not quite there, but heading in that direction. When she was in the hospital this last time, my brother in law and his friends did a musical fundraiser for us. It was really nice and not only did they raise enough money for us to get through the month of November , but they gave her a few gifts as well. One of the gifts was a makeover in a salon in the next city over from us. So today is the big day and I am really excited for her to go and have some fun!

And Kevin the amazing part of this is that my sister and him have been divorced for a very long time. Knowing his family lives in another country and he comes from a very small family, we always continued to keep him in our family, come to birthday parties and holiday dinners and so on. Also when my husband was alive they were hockey buddies they would go to the games together a lot so we have this bond, He introduces me and my other sister as his sister in laws and his ex as my ex wife. It was so nice of them to help us when things were truly looking worse and worse. Now that my daughter has been home for a few weeks I am starting to explore work again, although I know she has two major surgeries coming up hopefully I can make a few bucks and get ahead before that happens.. Thank you for commenting on my post. I think I am going to like it here.
