Searching for help!

Hi MyLot, One of my friend this morning asked me this morning for a big help. This is the message he sent to me. Here it is not a scam as this friend who asked me is a very trustworthy person. "One of my very close friends from degree is in need of a critical operation that costs around 5000 usd I'm helping the family look for funds by asking around my friends and family circle on fb. I'm just trying my luck if you know anyone who is willing and able to help out in any way possible because time is running out. She is a friend from degree who has idiopathic scoliosis so her spine keeps on curving which is putting pressure on her vital organs causing her breathing problems. She has been in and out of ICU but time is running out." And i was wondering if any of you people know a very genuine website where we could collect money for this girl? Going around will not bring 5000 USD very fast. We already have a group of people going around asking for donations in Malaysia...She needs the money as soon as possible or else she could die from it. Thank you

This is a SCAM. Run don't walk to the nearest exit and Block this email and turn it in. If you want to loose a lot of $$ that is the only thing that happens with these type of emails.

Why do you say its a SCAM? I know the person and he is very trustworthy. He will never go and lie to me about that. He just have a friend who needs help. thats all.

Go Fund Me usually can generate cash but I believe on some sites like this that you have to prove that the money is really going towards the cause you state.

Sure! We have the proof that the friend need the money to fund her medical cost..
